We've been Farked. As in Fark.com'd.
Here's what it looks like from a traffic perspective. The graph illustrates the spike in traffic this caused when someone submitted a link to a Technology Evangelist article on September 18th.
The Farked article was about Google's formation of a PAC and was carried on both the
tech and
politics sections of Fark.com. The tech section drove more than twice as much traffic to Technology Evangelist as politics did.
Fark is a news headlines site where users submit headlines and links to stories that interest them and the Fark community. Stories range from tech, politics, sports, and entertainment to news of the weird (referred to on the site as "Not News"). Users can add comments to submitted news stories and debate the issues.
This is similar to Digg.com. While I don't have a lot of experience with Fark, my early impression is that Fark users are a bit older and somewhat less caffienated than the average Digg user.
By the way, we include a "Fark This" link at the bottom of posts on Technology Evangelist. It's the silver "F" below this article. If you see something Farkable on this site, by all means Fark it.

Please add a "w" to your Fark Link, it is currently missing a "w".
