Text-Link-Ads has created a new metric for blog geeks called Blog Juice that measures the popularity of blogs on a 1-10 scale based on a combination of Alexa, Bloglines, and Technorati stats. As of this writing Technology Evangelist scores a 5.6 at this time:

Another new metric is the "page rank calculator". PageRank results from a "ballot" among all the other pages on the World Wide Web about how important a page is. To use Google Page Rank Checking tool you just need to add a small piece of HTML code to those pages where you want to check the page rank and our free tool Page Rank Checker will show the small icon that displays the current Google.com PageRank of those web pages.

I have to admit that text-link-ads.com is more than easy to use, but I find the choosing category quite poor. There are more internet fields than they have put there like flowers, pollution, humor or other I can not think about right now. Google page rank is one instrument that should be taken into consideration.
