CES - Microsoft Zune
Technology Evangelist Team

You would have to be hiding in your room to not know that Microsoft's Zune mp3 player was at the CES show. Benjamin saw a few too many “Welcome to the Social? signs and decided he had to try squirting a song of his own.

Benjamin Higginbotham: Benjamin Higginbotham with technologyevangelist.com. We are looking at the Microsoft Zune. Actually it’s kind of an interesting, they say “welcome to the show - show and it’s for every 10 iPods I see, I see probably zero Zunes. So, its kind of hard to get in to the show, when there aren’t any out there.

So, I wanted to actually see what it is like to as Microsoft-Ballmer , it was a Ballmer, I believe it was a Ballmer scored a song from one Zune to the other and so we asked them to show us that process. It actually seems quite simple and frankly its kind of cool device. When you look at it, when you look the screen and I look at this from different aspects such as doing video, because it does H264 video, it did seem that bad. I think it just needs to get a little bit attraction, a little bit of time in the market place and probably a version 2 of the product. So, lets take peek at what it actually takes to score a song from one end to the other.

So where this is useful is in small group of friends. You got a group of three or four friends and have a Zune, you can move your music back and forth, share between each other. Unfortunately its all DRM, so you got 3 days and 3 place to listen that song before you gonna have to buy it of Microsoft DRM site or just buy in the store and pick up a track, however you wanna do that.

Still interesting concept let’s see where it goes in the future.

First video I've watched. Looks good, I like the intro too. Did you see the iPhone in person? I bet that was aweso...nevermind, you're like 500 miles away from it. Well, the Zune is cool too. Really though, good segment.

Change the grammar. It should be "... a few TOO many ..."
