It seems like everything you ever read about Silicon Valley makes the place sound like it's overflowing with multi-millionaires, manicured dot.com campuses, and bumper to bumper traffic. If you'd like to see another side of the Valley, here's your chance. I did a walking tour of San Jose (had to pick up a Firewire cable at a Radio Shack) yesterday and brought my camera along on the trek.

A few highlights (not sure that's the right word for them): a guy peeing in the end of the alley with the chickens, shoes hanging from power lines (aka. shoefiti), and aged business signs that pre-date Google.
