Duel Systems Launches PCMCIA and CardBus to ExpressCard Adapter

Apple users will probably find this interesting.

Duel Systems has released a PCMCIA and CardBus to ExpressCard Adapter called the DuelAdapter. Probably the biggest benefit to this in the short term is the ability to use PCMCIA based wireless cards from Sprint and Verizon for an Internet connection while on the road.

Sprint offers an ExpressCard today (pictured below), but for those already owning a PCMCIA card, the DuelAdapter may be something to consider:

Or, one could dump their PCMCIA card for an ExpressCard using Ebay.

At $99, this seems like a good solution for people using both PC and Mac laptops on a regular basis. Of course, by standardizing on one OS, you could avoid the clunkiness of the external adapter.
