Laptop Rentals at Howard Johnson
While it's very common to have WiFi available at hotels these days, this is the first time I've seen laptop rental as well. At $15 per day, it's approximately the same price as a simple WiFi connection at some hotels:
This was at the San Jose, CA, Howard Johnson. Have you seen this elsewhere?

I've seen notebooks rentals at several hotels in the U.S. and abroad. Most high-end hotels are giving guests more and more tech, I', sure this will trickle down, just like cable TV and in-room phones ;-)
The Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco rents Dells by the day. At a few luxury hotels and resorts I've been to in Asia they provide in-room computers and gadgets.
The Taj Mahal hotel in Bombay provides two fully customized media center PCs that control 50-inch plasmas, room lighting, thermostat and room service. But they still charged us for WiFi.
One resort we stayed at in Thailand gave us a notebook and two iPods to use during our stay (free wifi).
