Top Posts for February 2007
I find it interesting to track what makes certain posts rise to the top of the heap each month. In February, we have
Slashdot to thank for picking up on Bob's Microsoft Dirty Tricks articles. A lot of
Minnesota bloggers picked up on the Google Should Buy the Ford Plant article I wrote, creating quite a bit of local buzz.
MacSurfer was probably most responsible for driving traffic to Ben's article on Apple.com, and
BoingBoing was the top referring source for the airport charging for power article. Thanks to
Aaron Landry for tipping off BoingBoing about that one.
In the longer term, Google is more responsible for traffic than any of the above sites. Which of the above articles qualify as "evergreen" articles that will drive traffic for months or years in the future? Time will tell.

And, Ed, you may be getting a call from a local reporter on that Minnesota/Google post. I tipped her off to it... :-)
cheers,
