MoveDigital has added a great new torrent feature that, in my opinion, makes it the best hosting solution for videocasters and podcasters.
We at Technology Evangelist have used MovedDigital services for a while. They have been very fast, very stable, and very easy to work with. I personally like the service because I can upload anything from a small MP3 file to an hour and a half 1080p video and get great performance no matter what I do. Being that we can get hit with several thouand concurrent connections for our high-definition videos, having a great CDN is very important to us. There are a lot of great features that MoveDigital supports such as the ability to generate streaming 3GPP files on the fly as well as torrents.
Until recently I had a pretty big gripe with the way MoveDigital did their torrents. I would upload a video and then I could use the MoveDigital network to turn it into a torrent file for distribution. The problem is that when I do this it creates a new folder for the file. Normally not a big deal but MoveDigital does not support sub-folders. This meant that with one video having a iPod, PSP, 480p, 720p, 1080p and Windows Media flavors I would have 6 folders per video. Before long we had hundreds and hundreds of folders which became impossible to manage. Sure it was fast, but I couldn't tell what file was what so getting stats became a pain.
Recently MoveDigital changed the way they did torrents and it has greatly improved the process. A feature called 'Single File Torrent' allows me to create a torrent file of a video without having the need to put it in a folder. Now I can have a show folder with all of my files organized nice and neat. I went from hundreds and hundreds of folders to 12. I can easily see stats on each video as well as find the files I'm looking for quickly. This means that I can upload all of my shows to MoveDigital, create direct downloads for iTunes, create fast serving torrent files for Democracy (with the ability to have MoveDigital pull itself from the swarm when it becomes large enough) and I can create mobile versions of all of our shows with just one service provider and one pricepoint. LibSyn, Amazon and other hosting providers simply don't offer this level of service and videocast specific features that frankly makes MoveDigital the best kept secret in the videocasting world.
MoveDigital still has a little ways to go. I would still like to see sub-folder support so I can have a show folder and inside of that folder have a folder for each episode. This would allow me to keep all six versions of a show nice and neat together. I would also like to see a better reporting mechanism that allows me to run reports along the line of what Brightcove or blip.tv does. In the mean time I'm excited to see Single File Torrent support and would encourage other videocasters to check them out. There are tons of hosting providers that will work with video, but few that have the tools set up specifically for videocasters. MoveDigital has a free 30 day trial, it hooked me and I suggest every videocaster give her a try. You'll be hooked too!

I have been with movedigital for 5-6 months now and I have been using their service to serve torrents from ~600mb (and recently) all the way up to 3.2gb, and I'm hooked; and thanks to smartseeding I have been able to afford this. I gotta tell you, it was amazing to use only ~30-40gb of bandwidth to serve a 3.2gb file to thousands of people and it's still going strong. The funny thing is that I could have (and probably should have) used less bandwidth; however, since this file was so huge and this was my first ever torrent of an .iso, I wanted it to go out fast/for everyone to get it fast (so there would be no dropping of the torrent due to long downloads), thus I turned of smartseeding for awhile. Had I not chose to turn off smartseeding, then I would have used much less bandwidth. And I guess I should also mention that movedigital noticed my smartseed settings were off (which is generally not a good idea) and they contacted me to warn me about my bandwidth being used up unnecessarily. Well, I could say much more, but this is too long already, so I better wrap. I like movedigital; their service is great, they're friendly and responsive/they really do care about the customer. I am in no way affiliated with them (other than my being a customer)/I'm just a happy customer who is grateful for this unique and friendly service. If anyone has any questions about my movedigital experience, you are welcome to contact me via my website. http://rosecoloredglasses.org
