Symantec's Norton 360 Packaging is HUGE
Thanks to Julio Ojeda-Zapata for pointing out the ridiculousness that is Symantec's packaging for their Norton 360 software:
Did they really have to destroy the ecosystems of three spotted owls, two penguins, and a polar bear to package a CD? That's not even counting the resources it will chew up on your computer.
Maybe they should take a lesson from, oh, perhaps, CD companies on how to package CDs?
The program is available for download with no discount for purchasing it in a format that uses no packaging, shipping, inventory, or retail mark-up.
Symantec, you could do better than this.

The new 360 rocks! The plastic DVD case that comes with allows me to store everything on the shelf instead of having loose CDs and manuals rolling around. Symantec gave me the free case instead of having to go buy something.
