CES 2008: Sony Transfer Jet - Wireless Firewire

Transfer Jet is a technology that allows the wireless transfer of video at firewire speeds (well, technically a bit better). Place your Transfer Jet enabled media device within 3cm of the Transfer Jet pad and it will see the device and you can move media, no cables needed.

Well you may need to plug power in which in a way defeats the purpose. Combine the Transfer Jet technology with the wireless RF technology and now we have a world changing technology. Until then it's just a nifty idea.
