Ed is currently Director of Strategic Marketing and Business Intelligence for WhereToLive.com, and Executive Producer of TechnologyEvangelist.com. Prior to joining WhereTolive.com and TE, Ed founded and managed Haystack In A Needle, a search marketing firm based in Minneapolis, MN offering pay per click and search engine optimization consulting services. Ed first surfed the web in 1993 while attending the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, and hasn't let go of his mouse in over twelve years.
When not researching and developing tomorrow's web business models, Ed contributes to TechnologyEvangelist.com, helps edit the occasional book on search marketing, including "Google AdWords Handbook: 21 Ways to Maximize Results," "The Search Engine Marketing Kit," and "The Marketing Toolkit for Growing Businesses," and runs a hobby web site tracking shoes hanging from power lines called Shoefiti.com.
