I'm heading on a trip to Amsterdam, Croatia, Slovenia, and Montenegro tomorrow for what should be an awesome vacation. However, my biggest concern before departing is power. I'll be using my Canon SD 800 IS camera while I'm there, which...

It's Mother's Day in the United States (and many other countries around the world) this coming Sunday, May 13th. If you were to break away from traditional Mother's Day presents like flowers and chocolates and opt for something techie, what...

We have covered the basics of why I like the Treo 700p but now it's time to tell you what I don't like about it. No digital device is perfect, and while the Treo line is the best of the best, I still have a few items I wish Palm would include:

How to you decide when is the right time to upgrade your gadgets? Do you have a trusted friend who you look to for advice on technology purchases? I'm talking about the kind of person who would help you make the right decision when it's time to upgrade your virus saturated computer or embarrassingly out of date living room computer.

I am not a huge fan of the Palm OS. I think its multitasking is pitiful, the GUI is not sexy, and in general it feels like its stuck in the late 90s. I have been waiting for a Windows Mobile or some other device to dethrone my Treo 650. There are two devices that caught my eye, the Audiovox/HTC PPC 6700 and the Treo 700w. While I could compare features and specs side by side, that’s boring. Instead I’ll talk about both devices being used in the real world.

The National Association of Broadcasters convention officially kicks off Monday and the press releases have already started flowing. For those not in the know, the big, big media guns are not shown at CES, nay, they are shown at NAB.

Typically scanners are very boring. Put the image in, hit pre-scan, crop, scan again and save. Yawn. I honestly never thought I would be excited to write a review of any scanner, but the Fujitsu Scan Snap line is nothing short of amazing. I’ll be the first to say that it’s not for everyone, but the Fujitsu S500 is a fantastic scanner that most should at least look at.

For quite a while now we have been promoting the Belkin Pre-N WiFi Router (which has nothing to do with the actual 802.11n spec.) This was the only router that actually worked in my apartment building which is bombarded with 2.4GHz signals from all sides. It’s been about a year, and we’re trying to find a solution that we can deploy in much larger environments. Enter the Linksys WRT54GX4 SRX400 WiFi Router. Ahhhh, that just rolls off the tongue. I think I’ll just call it the SRX400 from now on.

I was in a meeting earlier today where we needed a laser pointer.
Went to my desk to grab my uber-cool green pointer, but could not find
it. I was in a hurry, so I grabbed my lame and not very bright red one
and went on my way. During the meeting my mind started wandering to
different types of laser pointers, and what one could actually get.
While red is nice, how cool would it be to have a collection of different
colored laser pointers? So I have decided to start
collecting. Hey, I'm
a technoholic, it's what I
do.

Being a
technoholic,
I had to have the Xbox 360 when it came out. After
weeks and weeks and weeks of hunting around trying to find an Xbox 360, I
finally found one. Hooray! I wanted an Xbox 360 Premium, but all I
could find was a core system. The big difference between the two is that
the premium includes a 20GB hard drive, a wireless controller, and the analog
component HD cables.

I have been asked many times what the best laptop is. My answer is
actually not a laptop at all, rather, a TabletPC. Being a huge fan of
Apple Computer, this surprises many, but Apple has no product that can begin
to compare to the Fujitsu 4020 TabNote.

Microsoft?「どィび「s Xbox 360 and Sony?「どィび「s Playstation 3 are about more than just games. A lot more. I just recently got my Xbox 360 and have been playing around with some fun stuff involving media downloads. This whole experience makes me think about the future of television.

I found out today that I have a problem: I like technology too much. Good tech, bad tech, expensive tech, cheap tech, I like it all and WANT it all. That?「どィび「s the problem. I have wanted an Xbox 360 ever...
