On Twin Cities Live I'll be chatting about Skype and how to use it as a free videophone solution as well as a way to use it as a house, baby or babysitter monitor. I won't be getting in to...

One downside of being a cell phone only household (no land line) is losing your phone means you have no phone. And, unlike cordless phones, there is no docking station you can press a button on to locate the darn...

Found out an interesting little tidbit today. Since I want to use Skype and SightSpeed to record audio and video conversations for our daily Netcasts, I decided it would be a good idea to get Skype voicemail again. Since I'm...

My brother-in-law, Luke Watson, is a professional runner. Not a bad gig, but the considerable amount of international travel involved can lead to costly communications. I have been asked many times what the best laptop is. My answer is
actually not a laptop at all, rather, a TabletPC. Being a huge fan of
Apple Computer, this surprises many, but Apple has no product that can begin
to compare to the Fujitsu 4020 TabNote.

I must admit I was a doubter. How could a PC based telephone conversation be as good as a land line?
Well, because I have a cousin in the UK and I wanted to make a call with minimum charges I decided to give Skype a try.
The Technology Evangelist team is at the McCarran airport after a long day of gathering as much last-day footage as possible at CES. We'll have more HD video content ready tomorrow. Here are a few highlights from today:
