EKEN H6S 4K Action Camera with Ambarella A12 chip 30M waterproof sport Cam Review
EKEN A8 4K A6000 review~
The EKEN A6000 is an all-rounder that should appeal to videographers, both small and medium format. Its power and ease of use make it an ideal choice for travel.
What’s more, the large battery, USB connection and a 1080p screen give it a more viable option when shooting at larger screens.
For EKEN A6000
Against EKEN A6000
EKEN says that their latest A6000 can support up to 16GB, but it’s unlikely you can get that in the same way as DSLRs, 24-70mm and even wider format cameras.
In fact, the A8 can be used as a small DSLR or DSLR kit.
It’s also unlikely that you will get a large screen like a DSLR because the battery will run out and you’ll need a computer to do the work for you.
But the screen and power limits mean that if you’re shooting at the highest possible resolution you’ll need a full time computer to do the work for you.
What’s more, although the A8 offers a 1080p screen, it’s unlikely that you’ll need one for that resolution.
Build and Handling
The design is what most people associate with full-frame full-frame cameras. It’s not a knock on the quality of the components but there are some flaws in it.
The A8 is a bit lumpy at 1.3 kilos. That’s around 1 kilo lighter than the A7 so you’ll feel the difference when shooting with it.
However, it’s not as heavy as the A9 which is a bit more than the A4’s power.
The build quality of the EKEN A6000 is solid. The housing is made of solid aluminium, so the edges and corners are solid.
Although the screen and battery are made of plastic, the screen is covered with rubber. This, combined with the light weight and a small weight to carry with it, makes the EKEN A8 a solid choice for travel.
The battery and battery bay are also simple and intuitive to use.
There’s a lock switch on the top of the camera which can be set to either a secret or active mode.
The locks are locked quickly and securely. There’s no way to swap them when you need to.
The screen is fully laminated and can be viewed from any angle. The phone can be easily ejected from the case in the box or removed from the box if you’re using it for video and image shoots.
The battery is, again, small and, like the EKEN A6000, only removable. However, the battery will last for up to 5 minutes before the battery is cut off.
The EKEN A6000 has the advantage of being a small camera and therefore will not have a huge battery. The downside is that it also has a small bezels around the top of the screen.
That means that you have to take the camera with you when you’re shooting but the camera will keep on showing up at any angle.
The shutter button is relatively simple. Once pressed, it opens up, the camera takes a few moments to get fully worked up to speed.
The power button can also be used in this mode. It
