XIAOMI Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 1S for Home Automatic Sweep Dust Sterilize Smart Planned Mijia Review
Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 1S - A Vacuum Cleaner with 1Inch and True Multi-Surface Brush~
It’s been almost two years since we last heard from you about the Xiaomi Mi Robot vacuum.
And while we wait that’s why we have here with us this post today – the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner.
Let’s get to know the robot as a part of this Xiaomi Mi Robot review.
But before we get into the details let’s start with some specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Robot.
It has a 1,800 mAh battery that should run for roughly 120 minutes in manual mode and for the top speed of around 45 mph, it’s even better in manual mode because it’s so light.
It will cost between $700 and $800. And if you’re willing to do that for $500 it will be the most expensive robot vacuum around.
Features at a glance
What to expect from this Xiaomi Mi Robot vacuum?
The first thing you need to know about the Xiaomi Mi Robot is that it comes with a vacuum motor and motorized brush.
It does not have a remote control and it does not have any touchscreen so it is just an app and what’s on screen.
In terms of design, the Mi Robot comes with a large, round, water tank and two side brushes on the left and right sides.
When you hold the water tank, it looks like a large, large cube but it’s actually a rubber puck which is made up of rubber that covers the robot and it is really the only thing holding it together.
On the opposite sides of the robot are rubber wheels that provide traction when you need it.
Another feature I like with this robot is the rubber wheels on top of the robot. It means that when you hold the vacuum on the dock, it will be able to turn on the vacuum.
If you hold the robot in motion, you’ll notice that it comes with all these buttons and dials that tell the robot to clean the vacuum.
Each button has a name and it’s really up to you to which one you prefer.
For me, I prefer to use the manual mode because it gives me a better idea of what the vacuum will do. If you want to know what the cleaning brush does, just open it and then press the clean button.
Once you’ve got it’s all very easy. The first thing you need to do is to open the clean button and then press the clean button to start cleaning.
Xiaomi has used the same navigation system that you’ll see in all robot vacuums. It’s called the Gen 2 Algorithm.
I’ve said it before but I will repeat it. This is the same system found inside the Neato BotVac and Roomba 980. It uses infrared sensors that detect obstacles and helps the robot to avoid hitting a hard brick wall.
Here’s how the Gen 2 Algorithm navigates…
When you look at the navigation on top of the robot, it does a great job in getting to the robot. If you’re not familiar with the robot or the difference between the two, it basically does the same thing – clean a room.
The Gen 2 Algorithm uses infrared sensors to help
